Agnieszka Radwanska was born to Robert and Marta, an accountant. She has a sister, Urszula, a WTA player. She began playing at the age of 4 when her father introduced her to the sport. She grew up playing at a club in the German city of Gronau where Robert was a club pro. Her favorite surface is clay courts and she prefers her forehand side. In addition to Polish, Radwanska also speaks English. Her favorite actress is Nicole Kidman and her favorite author is Dorota Tarakowska. When asked about her favorite city, her answer is Paris. Her tastes in music include Green Day, Black Eyed Peas, and Eminem.
Radwanska won her first tour-level title in Stockholm in 2007, not dropping a set en route to beating Vera Dushevina in the final.
