American Donald Young is the son of father Donald Sr. and mother Illona, both of whom run the South Fulton Tennis Center in College Park, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta. The pair have served as Donald Jr.'s coaches since he began playing at age three. He has also trained at IMG Academy under the tutelage of Nick Bollettieri. Young lists his favorite athletes as Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods and Pete Sampras, and also likes playing table tennis and board games including Monopoly.
