Bio
Ranked 45th in the world to end the 2010 season, France's Jeremy Chardy has one career ATP title to his credit.
After spending his first three pro seasons well outside the Top 100, Chardy found his game during the 2008 season. He began the campaign ranked 192nd, but turned heads with a fourth-round appearance at the French Open. The run pushed Chardy into the Top 100 at No. 94. He impressed again with a quarterfinal appearance at Gstaad and another at Moscow to close the season ranked No. 75.

Chardy rode the hot streak into 2009, his best season to date. The right-hander burst out of the gate with a quarterfinal appearance at Sydney, defeating two Top 25 players.
A month later, he reached his first final - at Johannesburg -- overcoming No. 13 David Ferrer in the semifinals by an amazing 1-6, 7-6(9), 7-6(4) count.  He stayed hot by reaching the semifinals at Delray Beach to climb into the Top 50 for the first time, then won his first tournament at Stuttgart to reach No. 32 in the world, the spot he would end the year at.

He remained largely successful in 2010, finishing 26-29 and ranked No. 45 in the world. His best efforts came in a quarterfinal appearance at Delray Beach and another at the Toronto 1000 when he defeated No. 9 Fernando Verdasco and No. 6 Nikolay Davydenko in back-to-back rounds.
