Currently ranked No. 82 in the world, Spain's Pere Riba is in his second year on the ATP tour. Riba made his ATP debut in 2009, going 6-13 and ending the year ranked No. He started 2010 playing Challenger events, winning at Barletta, which moved him up to 101st in the world.
He made his major debut at Roland Garros, reaching the second round before falling to No. 18 Juan Carlos Ferrero. He added a second Challenger title at Bytom, then fell in the first round at Wimbledon. At Hamburg, he reached the fourth round as a qualifier, upsetting No. 24 Albert Montanes in the process.
He fell in the first round of the US Open, then bounced back to win the Challenger at Seville. Year-End
