Lena Sofia Alexandra Arvidsson is the daughter of Yngve, a policeman and Lena, a music teacher.
Her younger brother Fredrik also has aspirations to be a policeman.
Arvidsson began playing tennis at age eight when a neighbor, a tennis coach, showed her the game. She is a fan of American culture, particularly the TV show "Desperate Housewives" and the movie "Shawshank Redemption".
Her idol as a child was hockey player Eric Lindos, and among tennis players, she looks up to Jonas Bjorkman and Thomas Johansson. She also enjoys watching soccer and handball.
