Ranked No. 118 in singles and No. 18 in doubles at the end of 2010, Chinese Taipei’s Yung-Jan Chan is a former Top 70 singles player with nine career WTA doubles titles under her belt.
She achieved a career-best singles ranking of No. 50 in June of 2007. She has been ranked as high as No. 6 in doubles, doing so in August of 2008.
Her best Grand Slam singles appearance came in 2010 when she reached the third round of the US Open and the second round Wimbledon.
