Countdown to the offseason
Davydenko vs. Del Potro
Feeling a Davydenko upset here. He should be riding high after defeating Federer for the 1st time in 12 matches. Send the most underappreciated player on the tour some love. Go Davydenko!Read More

Davydenko vs. Federer

Del Potro vs. Soderling
Avged 50% on our semifianlist picks.

Spare a thought for Murray and Djokovic who were elimated based on the slimmest of margins.

Late post:

Murray and Verdasco are tied a set a piece and 2all in the 3rd as I write this.

Federer vs. Del Potro
We'll take Federer to extract some revenge on Del Potro

We think Murray can hang on to beat Verdasco.

Where in the world is Nadal??

Unspirited performance from the Nadal against Davydenko. Most of you noted how slow and sluggish he looked throughout the match.

Soderling waltzes into the semis.

Djokovic vs. Soderling

Nadal vs. Davydenko
Tough calls today but we'll take Djokovic & Davydenko for the upset.

Federer def. Murray

Federer claims # 1 rank with this win. Started slow today but once he got things rolling on his serve it was smooth sailing.

Del Potro def. Verdasco

Very nearly called the upset as Del Po outlasted Verdasco in the 3rd set breaker.Read More

Federer vs. Murray

Del Potro vs. Verdasco
We'll take Federer & Verdasco.

Soderling def. Nadal

Soderling has Nadal's number. He took it to Nadal and never looked back.

Djokovic def. Davydenko

Nervy start of Djokovic but once he found his legs, it was a nice rebound.

Nadal vs. Soderling

We'll take Soderling and Djokovic

Federer def. Verdasco

Erratic Federer in the 1st set and a half of this match but he righted the ship and smooth sailing in the 3rd.

Murray def. Del Potro

Murray went on a walkabout in the 2nd set but held it together against an ailing Del Potro.

ps. How many people are anno...Read More

It's the middle of November and the guys are still playing tennis.....ok enough whining, let's get on with the seemingly endless 2009 season:
Djokovic has suddenly found his game late in the fall season to be hottest player on the tour.
Djokovic dispatched a tired and uninspired Nadal to reach the finals of Paris. He faces hometown hero, Gael Monfils (aka. Mr. Elastic) in the final.

What a ho-hum week it has been in Paris. Federer lost out in his 1st match. Safin bid adieu to professional tennis, Delpo hampered with yet another injury and Nadal, like Federer, left his game at home.
