Watch: Serena Takes the Stage at MTV’s VMA Awards


On the eve of the 2016 U.S. Open, Serena Williams finished up her off-court media obligations with a stunning introduction. See video above, as Williams introduces her friend Beyonce, much to the delight of the crowd.

Williams will begin her bid for a record seventh U.S. Open title on Tuesday when she faces Ekaterina Makarova in the first round.
