Top-seeded Rafael Nadal and third-seeded Roger Federer have been drawn into the same half of the 2017 U.S. Open men’s singles draw. The pair have met 37 times and 12 times at the other three majors—but never at the U.S. Open.

If the seeds hold they would meet in the semifinals this year, but Federer in particular faces a pretty difficult draw. The Five-time U.S. Open champion faces American Frances Tiafoe in the first round and could face Cincinnati runner-up Nick Kyrgios in the round of 16.

The Spaniard opens with Serbia’s Dusan Lajovic and could face either Fabio Fognini or Tomas Berdych in the round of 16.
