You Do Not Want to See This Photo of Petra Kvitova's Badly Damaged Racquet Hand



Warning: The below images are not to be viewed by the squeamish, but if you are curious and want to know just how BADLY Petra Kvitova’s hand was injured after she was attacked by a knife-wielding burglar in the Czech Republic last winter, here’s your answer.

Looking at the photo of Kvitova’s lacerations above, and seeing how far she has come in the aftermath of this horrific incident (she returned at Roland Garros, won the Birmingham title and owns a 10-6 record on the season thus far), one can’t help but well up with admiration for her. The two-time Wimbledon champion is a true warrior, an inspiration and a humble champion.
