Nick Kyrgios says Novak Djokovic may go undefeated in 2020, but will still take a major loss regardless.
After reaching his 10th Western & Southern Open quarterfinal to raise his 2020 record to 20-0, Djokovic was asked if he can complete the season undefeated.

The world No. 1, who rides a 22-match winning streak dating back to the Davis Cup Finals last November, isn't ruling out an undefeated season.
"Look, anything is possible. I have experienced some things in my career, in my life, that I have to say I believed that they can happen, but they were not seeming so possible but yet they happened," Djokovic said. "I don't want to count that out, I mean, especially because of the fact that we don't know how the post-U.S. tour season is going to look like, whether we are going to play, whether there is going to be another lockdown in Europe or not."
Responding to journalist Ben Rothenberg's tweet with Djokovic's comments, Kyrgios concurred the 17-time Grand Slam champion may not lose this season.
But the outspoken Aussie slammed the world No. 1 as lacking humility and said even if Djokovic goes undefeated, the season will be a loss for the Serbian. "
"Hell of a tennis player," Kyrgios said of Djokovic. "May go unbeaten in 2020, can't take that away from him. Unfortunately when he was supposed to show some leadership and humility he went missing. Majority would say he has taken an L regardless."
Kyrgios has previously ripped the Djokovic-led Adria Tour as "a boneheaded decision."
Many players and fans did not wear masks or practice social distancing during the exhibition event. Adria Tour participants Djokovic, Borna Coric, Grigor Dimitrov and Viktor Troicki were among those who tested positive for Coronavirus after playing the tour.
