Watch: Serena's Fighting Form

Serena Williams is the ultimate fighter on court.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion isn't exactly the second coming of Laila Ali in the ring.

Fiercest Feud: Serena vs. Maria

Serena is scheduled to partner Frances Tiafoe for Team USA at next month's Hopman Cup in Perth.

To prepare for her blockbuster January 1st Hopman Cup showdown against fellow legend Roger Federer and partner Belinda Bencic in mixed doubles, Serena has gone into deep training.

If you're thinking Michael B. Jordan sweating through Creed-level boxing workouts, think again.

Watch Serena's hilarious shadow boxing as her hitting partner, Jarmere Jenkins, hits the mitts during a boxing workout.

Williams shared the training session on Instagram, conceding: "I am not sure if I'm cut out for this..."

Serena has often cited Muhammad Ali as one of her sporting heroes and has hung with Laila Ali in the past.

Mike Tyson and his talented tennis-playing daughter, Milan Tyson, have called Serena their tennis idol.

Serena met Milan in Paris last spring, sparking this delightful reaction.

Given her interest in the sweet science, if Serena ever opts to step into the ring with a fellow global celebrity in a charity boxing match, we don't want to see her sparring vs. John McEnroe or Maria Sharapova.

We think we've found Serena's ideal opponent right here.
