Video: Del Potro’s Under Water Rehab

Juan Martin Del Potro recently hit the pool for a day of relaxing rehab on his surgically repaired left wrist. And, naturally, because Delpo is now officially the ATP’s unofficial official rehab video king, the Tower of Tandil posted the video to Facebook (see above).

It’s the first time we’ve seen Del Potro use two hands on the backhand since his second, minor surgery, which came immediately after Del Potro elected to pull out of this year’s Australian Open.

If Indian Wells was being played underwater, we’d say that the Argentine had a pretty good shot of participating in the draw. But since the tournament is going with the conventional “above water, hard court” approach, it looks as though Delpo might be a month or two away from actual competition.
