Watch: Brown Suffers Back Injury and Threats

Dustin Brown's Montpellier match came to a painful and premature end. Then trolls added insult to his injury.

Brown led Frenchman Nicolas Mahut, 7-6 (2), 5-2 when he strained his lower back flicking a shot from behind the baseline.

In clear pain, Brown crumpled to the court clutching at his lower back.

He eventually arose and left the court for medical treatment, but was in no condition to continue.

An emotional Brown, clearly struggling with back pain, walked slowly back onto court to shake Mahut's hand before limping off in retirement.

Unfortunately, some skeptic trolls took to social media to question the legitimacy of his injury, prompting this response.
