Iga Swiatek has stepped out of Doha.

After sweeping Belinda Bencic in the Adelaide International final on Saturday for her second WTA title, Swiatek said she will skip next week's Qatar Open to rest.

"Yesterday we decided... that we're going to withdraw from Doha because of some intense weeks here," Swiatek, after her 6-2, 6-2 win in the Adelaide final. "I don't want to have injury or anything. I want my body to rest properly."

The reigning Roland Garros champion joins world No. 1 Ash Barty, Wimbledon winner Simona Halep and 2019 US Open champion Bianca Andreescu in withdrawing from Doha, which starts on Monday.

Swiatek is scheduled to play the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships next month.
