Wozniacki Wins the Australian Open


Caroline Wozniacki edged Simona Halep, 7-6(2), 3-6, 6-4, to claim her maiden Grand Slam title and reclaim the No.1 ranking in Saturday’s Australian Open final.

Wozniacki becomes the first player to Denmark to ever win a Grand Slam title. The two hour and 50-minute battle was intensely contested and came down to the wire.
