Video: Nadal Spins and Wins in Melbourne




Rafael Nadal is turning up the heat on Australia’s Alex de Minaur.

The Spaniard is in vintage form against the young Aussie and he even made time for a little shotmaking clinic early in the second set. Nadal executes a 180 spin backhand slice combo before traversing the court and cracking a trademark down-the-line forehand winner.

Pure magic from Nadal, who would go on to defeat de Minaur 6-1, 6-2, 6-4. Nadal will face Tomas Berdych in the round of 16.
