Pablo Cuevas became the first ATP player from Uruguay to crack the Top 20 on Monday after his final appearance in Hamburg. The 30-year-old has reached six finals and won three titles since the beginning of 2015.


Also rising to career-high rankings on the ATP side were Frenchman Stephane Robert, who reached the Hamburg semifinals and is now the second highest-ranked player in the ATP’s Top 100 at No. 59 in the world.

Gastao Elias of Portugal, a semifinalist in Bastad, rises 17 spots to a career-high 72.

Albert Ramos-Vinolas, who won the title in Bastad, rises four spots to a career-high ranking of 31.

On the women’s side, Dutchwoman Kiki Bertens continued to climb the rankings with a final appearance at Gstaad pushing her up to a career-best No. 21 in the world, while Switzerland’s Viktorija Golubic, the Gstaad champion, cracked the Top 100 for the first time to finish at No. 72 in the world.

16-year- old Rebeka Masarova, this year’s French Open junior Girls’ champion who reached the Gstaad semifinals on her WTA debut, rises over 400 spots from 797 to 314.
