But it won&rsquo;t be <a href="https://www.tennisexpress.com/roger-federer-tennis-equipment" target="_blank"><strong>Roger Federer</strong></a>. That&rsquo;s because four men are in the running to finish the Wimbledon fortnight with the No.1 ranking, but the Swiss maestro isn&rsquo;t one of them.<br /> <br /> <a href="https://www.tennisexpress.com/andy-murray-tennis-equipment" target="_blank"><strong>Andy Murray</strong></a>, <a href="https://www.tennisexpress.com/rafael-nadal-tennis-equipment" target="_blank"><strong>Rafael Nadal</strong>,</a> <a href="https://www.tennisexpress.com/novak-djokovic-tennis-equipment" target="_blank"><strong>Novak Djokovic</strong></a> and <a href="https://www.tennisexpress.com/stan-wawrinka-tennis-equipment" target="_blank"><strong>Stan Wawrinka</strong></a> all stand a chance. Murray can assure retention of his top ranking by winning the title, but if both Murray and Nadal reach the quarterfinals, then Nadal can surpass Murray by reaching one round further. See the point scenarios below: </span><br /> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"> <p dir="ltr" lang="en"> No.1 is in play for <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Murray?src=hash">#Murray</a>, <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Nadal?src=hash">#Nadal</a>, <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Wawrinka?src=hash">#Wawrinka</a> and <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Djokovic?src=hash">#Djokovic</a> at <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Wimbledon?src=hash">#Wimbledon</a><br /> <br /> Here&#39;s the points, via <a href="https://twitter.com/ATPMediaInfo">@ATPMediaInfo</a> <a href="https://t.co/mnzrLiSsCt">pic.twitter.com/mnzrLiSsCt</a></p> &mdash; TennisNow (@Tennis_Now) <a href="https://twitter.com/Tennis_Now/status/881292135349268480">July 1, 2017</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script><br /> <span style="font-size: small;">According to Murray, the ranking is not a concern.<br /> <br /> At least not yet.<br /> <br /> &ldquo;I&#39;m not thinking about that right now,&rdquo; Murray told reporters on Sunday afternoon at Wimbledon. &ldquo;That&#39;s not what my focus is. But maybe if, you know, there&#39;s a match later in the tournament where you know if you win, for me I would stay at world No. 1, or if I lose, maybe I would lose the ranking to one of the other guys. But not right now.&rdquo;<br /> <br /> The odds are much slimmer for Djokovic and Wawrinka to surpass Murray by fortnight&rsquo;s end. Both would need to win the title, with Murray losing in the first round&mdash;something he hasn&rsquo;t done in 11 previous Wimbledon appearances</span><br /> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"> <p dir="ltr" lang="en"> Day 1 <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Wimbledon?src=hash">#Wimbledon</a> order of play: <a href="https://t.co/LN5zPwMRjv">pic.twitter.com/LN5zPwMRjv</a></p> &mdash; TennisNow (@Tennis_Now) <a href="https://twitter.com/Tennis_Now/status/881468379466432512">July 2, 2017</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script><br /> <span style="font-size: small;">Nadal&rsquo;s chances are much better, but the Spaniard must reach the second week&mdash;something he has only done once since 2011. And despite coming off the high of winning Roland Garros, Nadal knows that the potential to fall low is there. &ldquo;I am excited to be playing again here, in a tournament that I really love,&rdquo; he said on Saturday. &ldquo;I really enjoy playing. But at the same time I tell you, is a tournament that you can go out very early in the tournament.&rdquo; </span>
