The summer hard-court season has yet to begin, but we can now officially crown 2017 as the year of revival.

Serena Williams won her Open Era-record 23rd Grand Slam title at the Australian Open, Rafael Nadal collected his record 10th Roland Garros crown, Roger Federer surrendered only eight games capturing his record eighth Wimbledon championship, Martina Hingis partnered Jamie Murray to the Wimbledon mixed doubles title, her 23rd career major championship.

Today, Dustin Brown gave us the all-court thrill ride we haven't seen since...well since the last time we saw Dreddy tennis play.

Brown showed safe-cracker finesse and firecracker hops in this pulsating point that helped propel him to a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Thomaz Bellucci at the Skistar Swedish Open in Bastad.

That eclectic show of touch gave Brown a set point. He broke Belluccie en route to a straight-sets sweep that sends him into a second-round clash with eighth-seeded David Ferrer, who defeated Federico Delbonis, 6-3, 6-4, in his opener.
