Watch: Federer Hits With Clash

Roger Federer is experiencing the Clash craze.

But the 20-time Grand Slam champion is not planning to change from his Wilson Pro Staff RF97 Autograph racquet to the Clash.

Djokovic's Dad: Novak Will Probably Win 10 Wimbledon Titles

In a Facebook post, Wilson said clarified Federer is not switching to the Clash.

"No. He will continue to use his Pro Staff RF97, but as a dedicated partner to the brand, he is always playtesting and providing feedback on all of our newest innovations!" Wilson posted.

Wilson unveiled a new cosmetic for Federer's Pro Staff last summer.

Wilson Labs used the stark contrast of classic white on an all-black frame for a new level of visual acuity to the racquet when it is in motion.

“I think this new racquet looks very iconic, and classic, yet seems to jump off the court in a very recognizable way,” said Federer. “My last racquet featured a tuxedo-style look, so now, with the addition of white, I can finally say that my ‘tuxedo,’ has its shirt. I love the way it looks and feels.

“I also like the way the racquet leaves a ‘line’ through the air to the eye, which adds to its specialness."

At the Laver Cup in Chicago last September, Federer unveiled a new red cosmetic for his stick paying tribute to the Chicago Bulls colors.

The eight-time Wimbledon champion, who will skip the Rogers Cup in Montreal, will return to action in Cincinnati next month.
