WTT Day 7: Kenin Leads Philadelphia Freedoms

Sofia Kenin showed sharp form leading the Philadelphia Freedoms over the Washington Kastles on day seven of the World TeamTennis season at the Greenbrier in West Virginia.

The Australian Open champion defeated Venus Williams, 5-1, in singles then partnered Caroline Dolehide for a 5-1 win over Williams and Arina Rodionova in the Freedoms' 22-14 triumph over the Kastles.

Kenin rebounded from her loss to Kim Clijsters of the New York Empire, while Williams was playing her first WTT singles match of the season and first singles match since February.
