Second Serve

Djokovic and Fish faced off against each other in the round of 32 at Wimbledon. The outcome was a tad bit suprising due to how horrible Djokovic has been playing lately, but it was expected. Djokovic came out on top with 6-4, 6-4, 6-4. There are MANY possibilities to why Djokovic hasn't been on top of his game, but i think the reason is that he is still having problem getting used to his new racquet. He switch to HEAD a little less than 6 months ago, and i believe that he is struggling to get used to the frame. I along with many others believe that this was a financial decision. Federer commented on Djokovic's decision saying, "It's tough because there's always a factor with the weather, how do you play, day form, you know, other contenders, the pressure, now a new racquet." I agree with Fed, and we are starting to see the results of his switch. The racquet he made the switch to was the HEAD Youtek Speed Pro. The racquet comes at the standard specs for an advanced player's racquet (98 sq in headsize, 16/19 string pattern, 8pts head light). I haven't personally had the chance to try out the racquet, but I'm pretty sure it'll hit solid, similar to the microgel extreme but for more advanced playes. Be sure to check it out to test out Djokovic's new racquet!
