Watch: Osaka Reviews Top Tennis Movies

Naomi Osaka prefers watching movies to tennis during downtime.

The two-time Grand Slam champion combines her work and passion playing film critic reviewing tennis scenes from movies in a new video for Vanity Fair.

Kyrgios: Epitome of Stupidity

Osaka praises the play—or CGI special effects—from "Battle of the Sexes" with Emma Stone portraying Billie Jean King and Steve Carell as Bobby Riggs.

The over-the-top net exchange between Andy Samberg and Kit Harington in "7 Days in Hell" prompts Osaka to observe "volleying takes close to no skill and it's easiest to fake if you don't know what you're doing."

The "Borg vs. McEnroe" movie scored high marks from Osaka both for the actors' tennis performances and Shia LaBeouf's emotional eruptions playing raging rebel John McEnroe.

"I feel like everyone that thinks about tennis that isn't a tennis player thinks it's a bit stuffy," Osaka says. "They get the image of Wimbledon when they think about it so it might be a bit proper compared to all the other sports.

"I think tennis is getting a bit more lax and I think outbursts aren't that uncommon anymore. I think the way the actors are playing tennis is quite accurate."
