Two-time Grand Slam champion and former World No.1 Victoria Azarenka has announced that she’ll begin her comeback working with Maria Sharapova’s former coach, Michael Joyce.

Azarenka, who has been off since the French Open last year, gave birth to a baby boy named Leo on December 19th of last year.

Azarenka plans to try to return to the tour later this season, possibly by the U.S. Open.

Her coaches from last season, Wim Fissette and Sascha Bajin, have each moved on to other assignments. Fissette is now the coach of Johanna Konta, while Bajin is the hitting partner of Caroline Wozniacki.

Joyce was the coach of Sharapova from 2004 to 2011, and the Russian won two Grand Slam titles during that time. From 2012 until this year Joyce coached Jessica Pegula.
