Needing more time to recover from his recent foot surgery, Canada’s Milos Raonic has announced his withdrawal from this year’s French Open:
Raonic, who had the surgery to repair a damaged nerve in his right foot after losing in Madrid, would have been the sixth seed at Roland Garros. His absence from the draw means that Stan Wawrinka will slide into the No. 8 slot.
