Watch: Wawrinka Hits with Ballkid During Troicki Injury Time


On a chilly Paris afternoon, Stan Wawrinka made sure he kept loose while Viktor Troicki sought treatment for a hip injury. The solution? Grab a ballkid, hand him a racquet and have a knock.

It didn’t only keep Wawrinka warm, it also warmed the fans to the defending champion’s cause. Wawrinka leads two sets to one and is up a break on Troicki in the fourth on Court Philippe Chatrier.

But the big winner on this Sunday may have been the ballkid.
