Naomi Osaka has posted photographs, apparently snapped at the scene of heated protests in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The two-time Grand Slam champion and current World No.10 has posted several photos on Instagram, as well as messages on Twitter, related to the protests that are taking place as a reaction to George Floyd’s death.
Young WTA players have been very vocal in speaking out against the type of police brutality that led to the Floyd’s death. Coco Gauff, pledging to make a difference with her platform, posted the following video on Friday and changed her avatar to all black.
