Katie Volynets has earned her place in Paris.
Volynets joined Michael Mmoh in earning guaranteed entry into the Roland Garros main draw later this month by finishing first in the USTA's Roland Garros Wild Card Challenge.

The 20-year old Volynets reached the semifinals at the USTA Pro Circuit W100 event in Bonita Springs, Fla., last week, a result that was good enough to see her overtake Taylor Townsend in the final week of the women's Challenge.
Volynets finished the Challenge with 215 points, thanks to results on the USTA Pro Circuit that included a singles title at the W100 in Palm Harbor, Fla., and a quarterfinal appearance at the W100 in Charleston, S.C.
The Walnut Creek, Calif., native is now set to make her French Open main draw debut alongside Mmoh, who finished first in the mens' Challenge.
Should either Volynets or Mmoh be unable to compete at Roland Garros, the wild cards would be awarded to the second-place Challenge finishers Townsend or Jack Sock.

Both the men's and women's wild cards were awarded to the Americans with the most ranking points earned at a maximum of three clay-court tournaments during a five-week window for the women and a four-week window for the men. All red-clay and Har-Tru events at the 25 level and above, including WTA and ATP Tour events, were included in the Challenge.
