The stars of the ATP have made their way to Torino – Turin if you prefer to anglicize – for the Nitto ATP Finals and the draws have been made. Here’s how the groups played out:
GREEN GROUP
Novak Djokovic
Stefanos Tsitsipas
Andrey Rublev
Casper Ruud
RED GROUP
Daniil Medvedev
Alexander Zverev
Matteo Berrettini
Hubert Hurkacz
Play will begin in Torino on November 14, also known as Sunday.
Green Group Notes
Of note in the Green Group is the fact that Novak Djokovic owns a 6-2 lifetime edge over Stefanos Tsitsipas, while he has never played Andrey Rublev before. The World No.1 is 1-0 against Casper Ruud.
Casper Ruud owns a 0-4 lifetime record against Andrey Rublev, and 1-1 against Stefanos Tsitsipas.
Red Group Notes
Of note in the Red Group is Daniil Medvedev’s run of four straight wins over Alexander Zverev (5-5 lifetime) and his 2-0 lifetime record against Matteo Berrettini. The Russian is 1-1 lifetime against Hubert Hurkacz, with Medvedev gaining revenge on Hurkacz for his loss in the Wimbledon round of 16 by defeating him in Toronto.
Zverev is 1-0 vs. Hurkacz and 3-1 against Berrettini.
Berretini, Italy’s lone representative, owns a 1-6 record against the group, with his lone win coming against Zverev on clay in 2019.
