Sporting formal attire, Rafael Nadal prepared for the ATP's elite eight in London by mixing it up with a trio of models in Stuttgart.

It was all part of a promotion for Nadal's campaign as brand ambassador for Tommy Hilfiger underwear.

The days of the young Rafa hitting the court clad in calf-length capri shorts and sleeveless shirts are long gone. Nadal looked sharp sporting a suit on court in the Stuttgart promotion.

"I always loved the Tommy Hilfiger clothes from a long time ago," Nadal told Ruptly TV in the video above. "Now, to be doing this campaign is a very special thing. I have a great relationship with Tommy for a long time already. We have a great relationship with all of the team."

The promotional exhibition was staged on a floating court.

It is the latest in a series of global promotional appearances Nadal has made as brand ambassador.

Before the US Open in August, the 14-time Grand Slam champion stopped New Yorkers in their tracks playing strip tennis at Bryant Park in Manhattan.

A larger-than-life Nadal took it off daily at the Crossroads of the World in this Tommy Hilfiger billboard that sometimes stopped traffic in Times Square.
