With just three weeks to play six WTA Finals slots are still up for grabs. Here are the updated (provisional, as the official standings won’t be released until Monday) Road to Singapore Standings.
Venus Williams, who entered Wuhan as No. 23 in the standings, now sits at No. 8. On the outside looking in, but within striking distance, are Agnieszka Radwanska, Karolina Pliskova, Carla Suarez Navarro and Belinda Bencic. Those four players occupy the 9-12 slots but behind them in the standings, players like Caroline Wozniacki and Timea Bacsinszky have a shot at qualifying.

According to WTA Insider Courtney Nguyen, 27 players still have a chance, however remote, to qualify for the elite eight. These are only provisional rankings. Check back on Monday for the official standings and more Beijing scenarios.
