'Tweener Alert: Kyrgios Stops the Show in Beijing



Nick Kyrgios is breaking out his finest shotmaking at the China Open in Beijing.

The 22-year-old executed this cheeky ‘tweener winner (bonus points for the barrage of backhands that led to this trick shot) during his 6-1, 6-2 thrashing of Georgia’s Nikoloz Basilashvili. Kyrgios did not face a break point and dropped only ten points on serve during the match. He also broke four times on six opportunities to reach the finish line in just under 56 minutes.

Kyrgios advances to face Germany’s Mischa Zverev in the second round.
