14-year-old Coco Gauff and 16-year-old Alexa Noel clinched victory for the U.S. Junior Fed Cup Team over Ukraine in Sunday's final in Budapest, Hungary, giving the U.S. its second consecutive Junior Fed Cup title.

Gauff, the current No.4-ranked junior and the reigning Roland Garros Girls' Singles champion,took the tie to a deciding doubles rubber by defeating Dasha Lopatetskaya 6-1, 4-6, 6-0 after Noel fell to Lyubov Kostenko 6-4, 6-1. Gauff and Noel then combined and came from behind to win the doubles match 5-7, 6-4, 11-9. Connie Ma was the third member of the team.


The victory was the fifth consecutive finals appearance for the U.S. Junior Fed Cup team and today's victory was the team's fifth title in the past 11 years (2008, 2012, 2014, 2017-18).

“This has been such a long week,” Gauff said after the final. “Alexa and I have had some long, tense battles. We might not have always played well, but I think we’re champions because we fought harder.”

Spain took the Junior Davis Cup title, defeating France in the final. Carlos Alcaraz Garfia, Pablo Llamas Ruiz and Mario Gonzalez Fernandez guided the Spanish team to their first Junior Davis Cup victory since 2013.
