The story of the above video is that Wozniacki got tired of waiting for John Isner to vacate the main interview room at the US Open, so stepped in among the reporters and started firing questions at Isner as a way to have some fun. It worked--kudos for Wozniacki for having a care-free spirit and the willingness to shake things up.
It's not the first time the Dane has has made a mockery of press-room formalities (thankfully). Wozniacki has also told interviewers she’s tired of their questions and proceeded to conduct self-interviews in the past, also once told reporters that she was bitten in the leg by a baby kangaroo in Australia. She later had to call a separate press conference when reporters were running with the news, just to call them off.
On court, both Wozniacki and Isner were winners today. Isner took down Malek Jaziri, 6-2, 6-3, 6-4, while Wozniacki, a two-time finalist in New York, thumped American Jamie Loeb, 6-2, 6-0.
Later in the day, Wozniacki got her cool kid game on and hung out with her new buddy, Derek Jeter.
