Second Serve

We don’t normally think of Felix Auger-Aliassime as a showboat type of player, but he went showtime on this rollicking point with France’s Corentin Moutet during his 6-1 6-0 6-4 victory in third-round action at the US Open on Saturday.

Auger-Aliassime didn’t have much of a choice other than the tweener after Moutet skied a beautiful lob back near the baseline.

This tweener is special because of the heat the Canadian puts on it. The Frenchman, standing at the ready, appears surprised at the pace and puffs up his volley just high enough so Auger-Aliassime can race to the net and finish this dazzling sequence with a winner.
