In a recent poll conducted by Robinsons, Maria Sharapova was voted the World’s Sexiest Female Tennis Player with 58 percent of the vote, reports The Sun. She outscored other fellow beauties on tour such as Ana Ivanovic, Elena Dementieva, and Daniela Hantuchova. Sharapova claims the title while her opponents didn’t even come close.
Spanish heartthrob Rafael Nadal won the hearts of the women tennis fans, claiming the title for Sexiest Male Tennis Player. Nadal received 55 percent of the vote, facing very tough competition from Britain’s Andy Murray. What about Fernando Verdasco? Or Andy Roddick?
Although these two won Sexiest Tennis Players in their respective polls, two former players took the title for Tennis’ Sexiest Players of All Time. They were clear favorites in the survey for the most desirable players. Tennis legend Andre Agassi was voted sexiest male of all time, and Anna Kournikova won sexiest female of all time. Kournikova I can see but Agassi? The voters must've been thinking about the mullet days...
Does Sharapova deserve such a high honor like that? There are plenty of beautiful girls in the sport that could compete with her in this category; some just haven’t focused on the glamorous life of modeling as much as she has. What do you think?
