Majchrzak Upsets Top-Seeded Auger-Aliassime in s-Hertogenbosch
Poland’s Kamil Majchrzak earned the biggest win of his career on Friday, defeating world No.4 Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-4, 6-3 to reach the semifinals at ‘s-Hertogenbosch.

The world No.76 had a 1-13 record against the ATP’s Top 20 and had never defeated a Top 5 player before. His previous best result was a win over No.9 Karen Khachanov at the US Open last year.
Majchrzak never faced a break point and converted two of three – one in each set – to take the win in 69 minutes over Auger-Aliassime, who is playing at a career-high ranking of No.4 this week.
Auger-Aliassime, seeded first, was bidding to become the fourth active player to reach eight semifinals on grass.
Majchrzak is into his third career ATP semifinal and will face either Daniil Medvedev or Marin Cilic.
The lower half semifinal in ‘s-Hertogenbosch will feature Adrian Mannarino against No.2 seed Alex de Minaur.
