"Out of my way, I'm Henin."
|
It may be December, but the heat's on. And we have Henin to thank.
"I'm back" declared a boisterous Henin. "Who wants some."
Henin is returning from an 18-month "break". She spent the first 12 months of the break touring the undergound fighting circuits of central and eastern Asia, participating in tournaments not unlike the one in the...

Ho ho ho

With Christmas upon us, it's time to start thinking about what we want under the good ol' tree. I've been wanting some
Nike shirts. I think I'd look fabulous in them. But that's just my opinion.
Here's what some of the pros want:

A bad back has caused
Dinara Safina to withdraw from January's Brisbane Invitational. This isn't her first encounter with this problem unfortunately. She withdrew from the WTA championships this past October. She believed she would be ok for the Brisbane tournament, as she made evident by signing up for the it o...

Get ready to mix things up
|
The International Olympic Committee has recently decided to add mixed double to the olympic repetoire of sports. Mixed doubles hasn't been played at the Olympics since the early 20th century, when it was an event from 1900-1924. As the early era of the new age of Olympics came to a close, mixed doubles seemed to not have a place anymore.
That's now changed.

Nadal's fortunes have taken a turn for the better
|
Many have been saying that
Nadal is on the decline, but his performance at the Davis Cup proves otherwise.
For the past couple of years, people have been doubting Nadal's abilities. Plagued by injuries, some say he's a mere shadow of his old self.
In an impressive showing, Nadal conquered...

Former No. 1
Amelie Mauresmo decided today to bow out from the world of professional tennis. The Frenchwoman cites her age as the main reason for her decision. "I don't want ...

Murray will soon face off against Roddick in Wimbledon's Semi-finals, reviving an old rivalry between Britain and the US...
|
Murray has crushed several opponents to make it this far at Wimbledon, and he still wants more. The young Brit has wore Fred Perry's, last British tennis player to win Wimbledon, line of clothing throughout Wimbledon to make a point. Murray is going for the championship, and Roddick is his next challenge! Personally, I'm going to side with the US player, Andy Roddick, but both players are so sk...

Today the semis for the men's draw at Wimbledon were set!
|
The semis for
Wimbledon for the men's side look very interesting! We have the two Andys facing off against each other on one side and on the other side we have the Federer against Haas! The matches are going to be very interesting, especially the Murray vs Roddick one because Murray is the last remaining Brit! As for that match, I'll be ro...

Roddick's new change and new racquet.
|
Roddick started training with a new coach,
Larry Stefanki, a while back and made many great improvements. The most noticable improvement was the weight, allowing him to move more freely around the court. Coach Stefanki also helped Roddick with many other parts of his game by increasing his arsena...

After defeating the fifth seeded player, Del Potro, in the second round of Wimbledon, Hewitt gave us another upset by making a comeback from being down two sets against Stepanek.
|
As I just mentioned, unseeded
Lleyton Hewitt met against the 23rd seed
Radek Stepanek in the fourth round of
Wimbledon. In the beginning of the match, both players were fairly matched, but Hewitt ended up losing 4-6 in the f...
