RE:Improving Your Serve I've been playing tennis for 5 years now and one of my weaknesses is my serve. I noticed that one of the reasons of most of my losses was my serve which was prone to double faults usually long. Been getting a lot of tips from instructors and players and they told me to practice my toss, wrist pronation and more racquet speed for spin generation. There was quite a change in my serve that made me win some games but definitely im not yet comfortable with it. Then recently, I made an odd thing to change my service accuracy. Since my serve is prone to double faults (usually long), I backed up 2-3 feet away from the baseline when serving (just like a serve in volleyball for more power) . And I have never been comfortable with my serve like this. I can pin 15-20 consecutive serves with pace and power!

I was just wondering if I made the right move?
