Tallest ATP tennis players Ivo Karlovic, 6'10", is the tallest tennis player ever to play on the ATP tour. He is just one inch taller than John Isner! Eva Hrdinova is the tallest female tennis player, at 6'3". What do you think? Do you think height helps in tennis?

RE:Tallest ATP tennis players Height definitely helps. Leverage on the serve = more power. Simple physics.

RE:Tallest ATP tennis players As a general rule, the taller someone is, the more attractive and important they are.

RE:Tallest ATP tennis players Yea and not to mention the durability issues. Many say that tennis is the most physically taxing of all non-contact sports on the body. Imagine if you weighed 250 pounds and you had lanky knees and elbows that always seem to get out of sync.

It would be difficult to name a tennis player over 6'5" who played well into his 30's.

RE:Tallest ATP tennis players So you're saying as a 6-7 man I shouldn't try to debut on tour at age 36?
