Andy Murray - I Can't Put My Finger On It
You know, I want so much to like Andy Murray. There are so many reasons why. Not the least of which is that he comes from ancestral country, Scotland.
Yet, there are times when I simply can't tolerate him. I mean, I don't hate him...I simply don't like his personality. I may be totally wrong, but Andy impresses me as a rather spoiled child...a person that is so self-centered. It especially comes out when you see hi side-by-side with other players that demonstrate infinitely more class.
Maybe this is all born of my dislike for his "hang-dog" demeanor on the court. I don't know.
There are times when I feel his self-centeredness contributes to his lack of energy. It's almost like he is saying "why should I have to work?" "After all, I'm Andy Murray."
I know, this seems out of the blue...but I just had to say something. I don't mean to offend any Murray fans out there.
Maybe he will grow on me.
