Andy Murray got all the 3s on Sunday
His third final, defeated three times in straight sets. This was a winable major for the Andy Murray. Murray needs to stop beating up his body. The brutal style he plays does tire his mind and physical strength during a 2 week, 7 matches, and the best of 5 sets in majors. Before he looks for a coach perhaps this talented player has to change first. It is obvious that nearly 2 decades of playing these tactics ( a very passive approach) will only get him so far in tennis. There were times in the match when he tried to get to the net but his uncomfortable presence was apparent as Djorkovic won the points.
Murray has more weight of shot against Djorkovic but his bruised body was not able to cover the court with speed. He naturally defends and to take the ball early and the initiative is alien to the Scot. Nick Faldo the golfer changed his game to win majors, it can be done. Tony Pickard who sits at home in Nottingham , a proud Englishman who coached Stefan Edberg to 6 majors is an experience and qualified coach who could help Murray. Perhaps Murray is surrounded by his team 'The Emperor New Clothes' mentality. One only has to read twitter and thepraise that is steep upon Murray by others. There does not need to be drastic change, a few tweaks, a strong belief and a major could follow.
As Tony Pickard said, in an interview to me, "the door opens only for a short time."

'Youth may be wasted on the young" in this instant Murray is no longer young in terms of tennis. He is now a veteran of the ATP tour
