Murray/Nadal wimbledon
After his defeat by Nadal, Murray has suggested he went for it too much. A poor assessment by the player. Watch that negative forehand, he leans back and arms the ball, legs, hips are all over the place. He is never balanced. The slow ball always gets that type of player. Nadal got him on the forehand everytime
A life time of playing defensive tennis cannot be changed for one match
Murray's body is damaged, knee(bipartite petella) ankle groin, and back... same as Nadal, injections before the match. Nadal is not the same player he was too.
Murray has been playing the same game since he was a junior, then when he moves out of his comfort zones and has to attack his game becomes alien.
His unforced errors particularly on the forehand side when he had to attack the ball. This could be because his first thought is to be defensive. He has had all the opportunities to move forward with the array of good coaches around. The look on his face and others who support him will live with them for a long time. The scar tissue on his body and mind is increasing as the years go bye
