Nadal & Spanish Soccer, can they do it?
If Spain can qualify out of its group on Friday afternoon, Sports Illustrated's pick to win the World Cup will make the elimination round and pair with native son Rafael Nadal to give the country a real chance of grabbing both a Wimbledon title and a World Cup crown in the same year, something no country has ever achieved.
Can it happen?

Soccer is definitely in the Nadal family blood. His uncle was a top player during Rafa's youth. We all know Rafa loves golf and soccer, how do you think he would do if he had chosen the pitch over the court?

He's a pretty awesome athlete, so he probably would have faired well at both. I would lean more towards soccer though.

Check him out playing soccer on the beach topless! It's funny that it seems that Nadal has a preference for soccer over tennis. It seems like tennis is just his job but "football" or soccer is his passion.
