Novak Djokovic made it 35 match wins in a row in an impressive 6-3, 6-0, demolition of Robin Soderling. In the semifinals, he plays Andy Murray, who started sluggishly against Florian Mayer before routing him 1-6, 6-1, 6-1. In the other half of the draw, Rafael Nadal beat Marin Cilic and will face Richard Gasquet.

In the all-American quarterfinal showdown between Mardy Fish and Andy Roddick and the preeminent American doubles team of Bob and Mike Bryan, there was only one thing to be sure of: Americans were moving on. With the scales tipping ever so slightly toward a win for the Bryans, Fish and Roddick upset them and shocked everyone, beating them 4-6, 7-6(1), 10-4.

It seems as though Juan Martin Del Potro is injured again and fairly seriously. He suffered the injury while he was playing in Madrid. Serious enough that he could have to pull out of Roland Garros in two weeks. It has been reported by La Nacion that he tore the left rectus muscle in his abdominals by eight millimeters.
