Serena Williams Miami 2014

With her Miami title, Serena Williams joins Martina Navratilova, Chris Evert and Steffi Graf as one of four WTA players to have won the same event seven or more times.

Serena Williams became the fourth player in WTA history to own seven titles at a single event when she defeated Li Na in Saturday's Sony Open final, 7-5, 6-1. Here's a list of some of the statistical milestones that the 17-time Grand Slam champion can check off her bucket list with her latest crowning achievement:

Titles:

Serena notches her 59th title, distancing her from the rest of the active WTA and inching closer to title number 60. Williams is now 59-17 in 76 career finals. Here is a list of the top five current WTA title holders:

Williams moves within eight titles of Billie Jean King for 6th on the all-time list. Here are the current top 7:

Seven Titles at a Single Event

With her seventh Sony Open title Williams Joins Martina Navratilova, Chris Evert and Steffi Graf as one of only four players to have won seven or more titles at a single event. Here's a list of how many times the aforementioned quartet has won an event seven or more times:

Oldest Sony Open Winner

Williams breaks the record she set last year when she defeated Maria Sharapova for the title, becoming the oldest player to ever to win the title at 32 years of age. Chris Evert is the only other player to have won Miami after turning 30, doing it at 31 years and two months in 1986.

Record Against Top Two

Williams improves to 43-15 against top two opponents, and a remarkable 30-3 against the No. 2-ranked player in the world.

Miami Finals

Williams is now 7-2 in Miami finals. Her nine finals are two more than any other player at the Sony Open. Here's a list of the top five in terms of final appearances at Miami:
