The Bryans, going for their fourth career title at the year-end event, entered Friday needing to win their last round robin match to qualify. They took on No. 3 seeds Alexander Peya and Bruno Soares who were also hoping to make the final four.

With a pair of tiebreak sets, the Bryans won 7-6(3), 7-6(2).

Next up for them will be the No. 4 seeds and recent Roland Garros champions Julien Benneteau and Edouard Roger-Vasselin.

Earlier in the day, Lukasz Kubot and Robert Lindstedt completed a clean sweep of their round robin matches. The No. 8 seeds faced off against Horia Tecau and Jean-Julien Rojer. Kubot and Lindstedt claimed the opening set and found themselves in a tight battle midway through the second.

Kubot delighted the crowd with this superb lob that won an extended all-court rally.
The set eventually reached a tiebreak with Kubot and Lindstedt finishing on top 6-4, 7-6(4). The team finished the round robin at a perfect 3-0.

For Roger, it was a tough end to the event as he failed to win a match thus extending his career losing streak at the tournament to 0-9.

Kubot and Lindstedt will next face Ivan Dodig and Marcelo Melo in the semifinals.
