Roger Federer ATP World Tour Finals

Roger Federer nabs the ATP's fan favourite award for a 12th time, while Mike and Bob Bryan sweep the ATP's doubles awards.

Roger Federer has cleaned up at the ATP World Tour Awards once again in 2014. The 17-time Grand Slam champion was voted by fans as the ATPworldtour.com Fans’ Favourite for a 12th consecutive year as well as being voted for by his peers for the Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship award for a tenth time.

Since 2003, Federer has claimed a record 29 ATP World Tour Awards.

Mike and Bob Bryan swept the doubles awards for a sixth straight year, as they claimed the year-end No. 1 and were voted in by fans as the ATPworldtour.com Fans’ Favourite for a tenth time each.

Andy Murray received the Arthur Ashe Humanitarian Award for his work in spearheading cancer awareness fundraising campaigns and exhibitions and for raising awareness for the work of Unicef, United for Wildlife and Malaria No More.

On the strength of his first career semifinal in Basel and rise to a career-high ranking of 92 in the world, 17-year-old Croatian Borna Coric nabs the ATP’s Star of Tomorrow Award. Coric was the youngest player to reach multiple quarterfinals on the ATP Tour since Rafael Nadal in 2003.

Resurgent Belgian David Goffin takes home the Comeback Player of the Year Award after a season that saw him win two ATP titles in three finals and climb to a peak ranking of 22 in the world.

Spain’s Roberto Bautista Agut wins the Most Improved Player Award, finishing a breakout season with 45 wins, two titles and a ranking of 15.

The only award left to be determined is the ATP singles year-end No. 1. Novak Djokovic currently leads Roger Federer in the race by 1,310 points and could clinch the top spot by winning all three of his round-robin matches next week.

Players will receive their awards during on-court ceremonies during next week’s World Tour Finals at the O2 Arena in London.
