Victoria Azarenka, Twitter

Engagement rumors, finger pointing and more. All in this week's tweets of the week.

A smattering of tweets from a wild—and crazy—week of tennis on the ATP and WTA Tours.

1. This tweet from Victoria Azarenka mysteriously appeared moments after Eugenie Bouchard was upset by Mona Barthel in her first match with Sam Sumyk as her coach. Naturally, tennis Twitter speculated…

Wisely, Azarenka tweeted the following, three hours later to clear the air…

2. While that was going on, Vika’s good buddy Nick Kyrgios was getting ready for chemical warfare while riding a stationary bike and listening to whatever it is the kids are listening to these days…

3. In Antwerp, the always awesome Petko was doing her best Zoolander imitation (when she wasn’t saving eight match points in a single game).

4. On a more serious--and strange--note, Gilles Muller was winning big in Rotterdam this week, but he wasn’t all that pleased about it…

5. The king of clay was ironing out the kinks in Rio ahead of next week’s Rio Open. We are guessing that a lot of Nadal fans are smiling about that.

6. In Rotterdam, Ernests Gulbis made a brief appearance, made a funny face, and was gone before most knew he was even there.

7. Also in Rotterdam, Grigor Dimitrov called Paul-Henri Mathieu out for calling him out. Wait a second? Can you call someone out for calling you out? Well, if you’re Grigor you can…

8. Speaking of Grigor, is this really the way that tennis fans are going to find out that he’s engaged to Maria Sharapova? We’re all for the engagement, but let’s let the happy couple break the news. Oh, well, cat’s out of the bag (we guess, though it’s hard to believe that this is true for some reason).

9. If it’s really true, then how long will it be before Grigor and Maria’s kids are hanging out with this little one at tournament day care centers?

10. And don’t forget about Mardy Fish’s little one, either. The kid obviously knows how to play.

11. (Because this one goes to 11) Because 10 is never enough, No. 11 features a perfect ten. Caroline Wozniacki, from Masters caddy to top ten to marathon to swimsuit pin-up, all in the span of one incredibly busy and rewarding year…
